GENDER
This event is for all women-identified and nonbinary people who enjoy femmes space – especially for those with little or no experience. Your safety and comfort are important to us.
COVID POLICY
We are requiring that you have a negative COVID test at least 3 days prior to the event. If you do not bring your negative test, we will have some available for you to test on the spot to be allowed into the event. Because we will be practicing on each other and will be in close proximity to each other, we are making this a requirement to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
As following the state and CDC guidelines, masks are not required but highly encouraged. We will have masks available, as well as hand sanitizer.
REFUND POLICY
We allow refunds up until Feb. 9, 2023. From Feb. 10th to Feb. 17th, your ticket will be 50% refunded. If you test positive for COVID 3 days before the event or at the event itself, you will be given a full refund with proof of a positive test.

ABOUT MISS MARLA
Marla Renee Stewart, MA (she/her) is a professional sexologist, intimacy/relationship/sex coach, speaker, and author. She is the owner of Velvet Lips, a sexuality education company, as well as Contract Liberation, a company focused on research for non-profit groups. As a faculty member at Clayton State University, she teaches Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies. As the Co-Founder of the Sex Down South Conference, Marla aims to bring diverse groups together to learn and share their experiences in the essence of being authentic and fostering sexual liberation across communities.
Marla has studied human sexuality for over 20 years, has educated over 20,000 people in over 13 years, given over 500 workshops, and have served over 100 clients in her private practice, all around the world. She has had her influence in the media, as well; she has written over 200 articles, featured in over 20 magazines and books, and has been on over 60 podcasts and independent television shows. She was featured on Netflix’s Trigger Warning with Killer Mike, VH1’s Love & HipHop Atlanta, and filmed as a sex expert for GPB’s Personal Injury Court and Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club: Atlanta. In addition, she also sits on the Boards for SPARK Reproductive Justice NOW! and the Diverse Sexualities and Research Education Institute.
She co-wrote her first book, The Ultimate Guide to Seduction & Foreplay (2020) with Dr. Jessica O’Reilly and is currently writing a chapter and co-editing An Intersectional Approach to Sex Therapy, coming in 2021.

ABOUT MIDORI
Midori is a renowned educator and writer on sexuality. Dubbed “the supernova of kink” by Dan Savage, she emerged from the Sex Positive Movement in San Francisco in the early 1990s, soon becoming a much sought-after international presenter on sexuality, personal fulfillment, and kinky adventures.
Her reputation as an authority and leading expert on alternative pleasures stem not only from her unique and entertaining process of teaching concrete skills but from her ability to deconstruct and distill complex matters of desire into surprisingly accessible lessons with eloquence and humanity. She’s known for tackling challenging topics with fresh and relevant insights. She calls this her “head-heart-hands” method to create a space where people are allowed individual self-exploration. Fundamentally she is motivated by helping people to create authentic and intimate relationships while emphasizing self-actualization, shame reduction, acceptance, and justice.
