Kink Between the Lines Conference

A special 3 day event, accessible online.

Kink Between the Lines (KBtL) aims to provide the platform for and intentionally hold spaces that center marginalized perspectives and topic matters that are generally given the backseat, if they’re included at all.

For their purposes, marginalized includes (but is not limited to) conversations around mental health, disability, race, gender, age, sexualities often forgotten (ie: intentional inclusion of the letters outside of “LGB”), socioeconomic status, trauma, religion, recovery status, parenting, HIV and STIs, and more, and how those identities come into play (pun intended) when participating in BDSM, kink, the lifestyle, and its communities.

SCHEDULE

Auntie Midori’s Queer Kinky Slash Storytelling Challenge

Saturday Feb. 5th at 4:30pm – 6:00pm

More fun than a barrel full of buttered Bards!

Based on Midori’s perennially popular ‘Aural Sex’ workshop, learn quick fix tips on sexy voice skills and steamy storytelling. Focusing on the ye’old queer tradition of slash fiction and fan fic, we’ll break out into small teams to come up with stories. Then using the skills learned and plot created, try your hand at the smut story slam

Come have a hilarious kinky time, learn something and meet others at KBTL.

[Please note: this workshop will include lots of participation and engagement in small groups. Late arrivals are welcome to attend, but may not be able to participate fully.]

Discussion at the Intersection of Race and Kink: POC Discussion Panel

Sunday Feb. 6th at 2:00pm – 3:30pm

A candid and vulnerable discussion on living, loving, and playing as a person of color, particularly within majority-white spaces. This discussion is meant to center POC. All POC are welcome to attend, questions and participation are encouraged. White attendees who understand that being an ally is a verb are welcome and encouraged to listen.

VerziiK; with Midori, Sir Wombat, and Yoshi
